Books on Society
In 2004 we began publishing visual readers on enduring global issues including human rights, democracy, faith, water resources and the climate. Since then, we have expanded the list, bringing together research, ideas and visual expressions across disciplines to engage with urgent social and political questions. Theo Deutinger’s cult book Handbook of Tyranny now anchors this program. These are books that offer different ways of reading the world through its systems and spaces.
